The crew of three guys came on time. They were professional and respectful of my property and clearly new what they were doing. They had the old concrete patio jacked out and the area dug out in record time. I watched the whole process carefully because I need to know what is under the ground around my foundation! It took them about 7 hours. The site was spotless when they left. The 'grass' looks great and my dogs are happy. I would definitely use them again.

They had 3 company owned trucks haul dirt/rocks away, bring base rock and all their equipment! Even had their own portable potty!
This was our second project they did and i would recommend them all day long! Prices are very competitive too so that was a BIG plus! Have them work on your turf needs! You wont be disappointed!!

After several friends told us great things about Jorge and his team at Better Than Real, we finally went for it. First, they are extremely professional and reliable, they show up on time, and their bidding process is simple and straightforward. They were able to start our project just days after signing the contract, and they did the entire project in just 3 workdays including their standard process of removing the old lawn, digging down 3", replacing it with based (which they compact with a machine), laying down gopher wire, and then installing the grass. When Jorge came by today for the final walkthrough, he asked me to try to find the seams (the grass comes in 15' wide rolls), but it was impossible to find them. The actual grass product has come a long way in recent years: we went with "Royal," one of their best sellers, which has great color (rich green on top, and brown down toward the "roots" to emulate real grass) and feels comfortable on bare feet/legs. I'm just so happy to look out the window and see a gorgeous, pristine yard that requires no precious water. In conclusion, we are very happy, and I can't wait to give away my lawn mower.

We wanted to get some... read more nice artificial grass for our kids to play on. We requested quotes from three companies, including Better Than Real (doing business as Rainbow Landscape). I got in touch with Jorge and he was extremely responsive and showed up when he said he was going to. He offered suggestions and was not pushy at all. We had an old buried concrete curb, which one company didn't want to touch. They originally scheduled us for two days to install. The first day was rained out, so they said they would bring an extra helpers for the second day. They were able to knock it out in one day. They were careful to lay out some tarp so as to protect our front pavers. They did a lot of the little things right too, including replacing our hose nozzle after using it. The only critiques would be to plug back in the pool pump plug (they used the outlet), and some of the workers left some minor trash in our front yard after their lunch. Their final price was very competitive and fair, and it was about $3000 less than another company. They seemed to have more samples to choose from than other companies as well. We would use them again in the future, and just may if we decide to replace the front lawn.

They were right on time to start, even after a one day rain delay. The prep was done to perfection and the clean up at the end of each day, was excellent. The second day the turf went down. Where day one was all physical labor, day two was the tedious hands and knees stretching, trimming and seaming the turf followed by adding the infill and lots of brooming and grooming to fluff.   Had 160 sq ft of dead turf replaced with artificial grass on 8/19/2021. Guys were on time, did a great installation job (turf tear out, grading, granite layer and... read more tamping it down, framing area with bender board for nailing turf into, installing 2 seams (they are invisible!), raking in the sand and then cleaning up. Only took 3 hours (but the area is pretty small). $15/sq ft quoted which was within range of 2 other quotes I got (except for one at $28/sq ft which was discarded). Highly recommend.
